The Jamaica Green Building Council is an independent, non-profit, industry-led organisation working to transform the way buildings are designed, constructed, and operated across Jamaica.
The JaGBC brings together the whole of Jamaica's building industry under a shared mission — to create a built environment that is sustainable, resilient, and fit for the challenges of our climate.
We work in partnership with government, industry, academia, and civil society to advance education and professional capacity in green building, advocate for stronger standards in our National Building Code, support the development of a locally appropriate green building certification framework, and connect Jamaica to the global network of over 70 national Green Building Councils.
